Hula is a microcosm of our physical and natural environment. Protection and care of the environment will always be a quintessential concern for any cultural practioner.

With that in mind, Unuokeahi routinely partners with any organization, grassroots or governmental agency, that pursues mālama ʻāina.

Today, we volunteered with the Department of Land and Natural Resources to help clear invasive grasses and replant native species at the dry-mesic lama forest, Kīpuka ʻOwēʻowē.
